On each visit
Time to talk, and a few things at home
Conversation comes first: a coffee, their week, whatever they feel like sharing. We look at the agreed household tasks along the way. One 45–60 minute visit.
- How they are feeling and whether they have been out recently.
- Whether there is food in the fridge and it is in good condition.
- Whether medication is organised. We only look at the pill box; we do not administer it.
- Whether the home is at a comfortable temperature.
- Anything at home that needs attention: a leak, a loose rug or a bulb that has gone.
- Mail and bills waiting to be dealt with.
- Whether they need company to the shops or a medical appointment (extra).
- Small tasks: changing a bulb or carrying shopping upstairs.
A tailored quote
Every home, pet and visit rhythm is different.
Email us what you need and we’ll send you a clear written proposal, including what the visit covers and its limits.
Area
We visit Barcelona and places within about an hour’s drive from the city.
The written proposal sets out the travel component, so distance is reflected in the quote.
If you’re further away, you can ask; we consider each request case by case. Availability is agreed by email.

Questions
Before the first visit
What if they are unwell?
Before a visit, we agree the contacts and what to do if the person needs help in writing.
Do they need to give you keys?
We agree key handover and return in writing. Keys carry a code, without the address.
What if they do not want visits?
They decide from the first meeting whether they want visits and can decline them. We respect their language, schedule and limits on sharing information. Paying for the service does not replace their agreement.
Can you go with them to an appointment?
Yes, as an extra, with 48 hours’ notice. We go with them to the appointment and home again; we do not make medical decisions or deal with clinical matters.
What if they do not answer the door?
The person must agree to the visits and can decline them. If they do not answer the door, we need a written plan: who to call first, how long to wait and when to reschedule.
